Youth community Gerbi\u010deva<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

INDEPENDENT LIVING IN A NEW BUILDING ON GERBI\u010cEVA STREET<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We are very pleased to inform you that the Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia, as the main implementer of housing policy in Ljubljana, has completed the construction of the Youth Community – Gerbi\u010deva. It is a pilot project based on ReNSP15-25 with the idea and objective of increasing the independence of young people aged between 18 and 29.<\/p>\n

The property has 109 housing units with a total of 171 beds. Currently, there are beds available in the two- and three-person units. The accommodation units are equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom, wardrobes, beds, tables and chairs. The monthly rent for a 2-person unit is EUR 160 per person and EUR 30 for expenses. The monthly rent for a 3-person unit is EUR 150 per person, plus EUR 30 for expenses. Renting a unit or bed also gives tenants access to the community’s common areas: a shared kitchen and dining room, a co-working space, a meeting room and a laundry room. Tenants will also benefit from a good location – close proximity to the city centre, which is just a 20-minute walk away, and close proximity to public transport, bicycle rental and park-and-ride parking. There are also 25 parking spaces in front of the building available for tenants, all of which have already been tendered, except for one for a disabled person. Tenants also have 5 car-sharing parking spaces, 2 motor vehicle parking spaces and 78 bicycle parking spaces.<\/p>\n

The Fund will rent out the accommodation units or beds to applicants on a rolling basis until all the beds have been rented out according to the conditions of the call for tenders.
