Notice of closure of the Open Call for Rental of Housing Units – RENTAL FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

The Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia, a public fund, announces that the Public Call for Housing – Rental for Young People, published on the basis of the Resolution on the National Housing Programme 2015 – 2025, will close on 31 December 2020, in line with the expiry of its duration (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 92/2015, hereinafter ReNSP15-25), of theHousing Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 69/03, 18/04 – ZVKSES, 47/06 – ZEN, 45/08 – ZVEtL, 57/08, 62/10 – ZUPJS, 56/11 – dec. US, 87/11, 40/12 – ZUJF, 14/17 – dec. US and 27/17, hereafter: SZ-1) and the Act on the Establishment of the Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia as a Public Fund (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 6/11, 60/17 and 17/18).

This method of awarding housing to young people is not being abolished, so all interested young people are invited to monitor our website, as the Business Policy of the Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia for the period 2021-2025, which is still in the process of being adopted by the founder, foresees the adoption of a renewed Call for Proposals. Information on the adoption of the Strategy Paper and the revised Call for Proposals will be published on www.ssrs.si

In addition, we would like to inform you that the Housing Community for Young People on Gerbičeva Ulica Street in Ljubljana is gradually being completed, which will provide 171 young people with the opportunity to live independently. There will be 109 accommodation units for one or two persons and 2 accommodation units for three persons. All information on the tender procedures will be published on the website when construction is completed.
